# sportnet.ai FAQ

Answers for athletes and parents about the sportnet.ai Coach and Advocate.

## Is this an agent?

No. sportnet.ai is an independent AI coaching and outreach platform, not a
licensed sports agent. It does not negotiate transfer fees or demand payment
from clubs, and the athlete approves every message before it is sent.

## Does it cost money?

Coach and Advocate access is free for the founding cohort of athletes while the
product is being built. Athletes will be told clearly in advance if that
changes for their account.

## What if I am under 18?

sportnet.ai is for athletes 18 and over. If an athlete says they are under 18,
the Coach ends the coaching conversation and does not build a plan or profile.

## What happens to my data?

Messages, plans, and performance data are used to run the Coach and Advocate.
Athletes can export or delete their data. sportnet.ai does not sell athlete
data. See the [Privacy Policy](https://sportnet.ai/privacy).

## Who can see my conversations?

Coach conversations stay private and are not shared with clubs. Advocate
outreach remains visible only to the athlete until the athlete approves a send.

## What is the Coach allowed to advise on?

The Coach provides general athletic coaching on training, nutrition, mental
performance, and technical feedback on the athlete's own footage. It does not
replace a doctor, physiotherapist, or licensed professional.

## Will the Advocate discuss money or transfer terms?

No. Outreach never includes fees or transfer terms, and nothing is sent to a
club without the athlete's explicit approval for that specific message.
